This one is special. A truly unique blend from la famille Ogereau: tuba-playing, wine-making savants. L’Enjouée is a field blend that is anything but simple. The wine goes through semi-carbonic maceration for 6 days, as well as a full malolactic fermentation. It is vegetal. It is fresh. It is peppery. It is gorgeous. You can confidently enjoy this one on its own, but it does well with funky cheese boards and roasted chicken too. Slightly chill it, crack it open, and pine for more when you finally notice you’re on your last sip.
